I found out my work placement for my English Language Teacher's Assistant job through the JET (Japan Exchange and Teaching) Programme!!

My new home is: Shiranuka-cho, Hokkaido.
It's one hour by train to the big Kushiro city and also 1 and a half hours to Obihiro city :)

It's right on the ocean. Population roughly 10,000. Maybe 1 high school, two junior high and one elementary school.

So there you have it! It takes roughly 100min by plane from Tokyo to Kushiro or Obihiro airport.
I'm really looking forward to it, and I'm proud to be given the chance to go! :)
 
I leave August 2nd, 2008.

It's a huge change in my life, for the first couple of weeks when I received my placement I was pretty stressed out, realizing that I'll be away from family and friends for one whole year or more! But now I'm just getting more and more excited about it - I can't wait to teach!! I really like seeing people's faces light up when they realized they were able to speak in another language. Yes, it's truly exciting.

I'm very glad I can still go to Sapporo for weekends and possible concerts ;) heehee!!
It's my goal to see some concerts... and travel all of Hokkaido! :D

Soooo... I'm working on the manga. I swear. I just needed to take a break. Which is right now, typing away... I ran out of dramas and anime to watch. Oooooh I can read more manga though! ...Later.

It's been a good summer. I'm going to university again in one week, which means I'm going to do my best to work my ass off on the manga until then. During school I know I will be drawing the next pages, but not so much inking and toning. Just because that's very time consuming. So I'm going to try my best...

I don't know what else to write. I'm sure everyone's expecting manga pages, so I guess I should go do that... haha!

OH!!! Please buy stuff *grins!!* I have loads of pins and books to sell, so I hope you could support me by getting one. I'll go out of my way to update a page when someone buys a book, so please do :)

It's been confirmed - I'll be selling my art/manga at the anime convention CNAnime this year in Toronto, Ontario, Canada. August 24-26. You can see more about it here: CNAnime

Therefore, instead of updating, which I truly apologize for avoiding, I will be creating Koikokoro goods such as bookmarks and postcards and magnets. As well as many fanart goods, especially that of Kyou Kara Maou. Other than that I probably wont be able to accomplish much this month. But Book 1 and 2 of Koikokoro are being reprinted and edited with new covers. Book 3 will also be seeing its cover soon, as well as it's filler page, which I sketched on the airplane. :3 Because of these goods you will also probably see a new "buy goods" page with more things in it online in the last week of this month. But until then... I will be quietly drawing away in solitude ;_; I'm actually quite terrified of this convention... o.O Wish me luck...

Japan was amazing. It took me a whole month to recuperate being back. Literally. I sat around like a depressed vegetable wishing I had never left. It's very wonderful there. I had so much fun talking to people, practicing Japanese, and just exploring. It's so different. But alas, I have returned. But like I said, it was so depressing for a month. But by the end of June I found I might be selling Koikokoro goods at CNAnime... which would be interesting. So I thought I had better start drawing some product.

But again, i'm going away.
I'm going to visit my mother who lives in Peru. Just for two weeks...

and before then I have 3 major events! Going to see Harry Potter in IMAX on July 10th! then the Cat Empire band on the 11th! Then the Evil Dead musical show on the 13th! It'll be an amazing week...

And so, before the 10th, I am trying my best to draw like crazy... because once it hits the 14th, I already have to pack for Peru, because I leave the 16th. CRAZINESS.

so... I'm doing my best. I have tooo!! I must sell stuff to make moneeeey!! I have no job ;_;
